How To Prepare For Spring

A new cycle has begun, Spring is here! We’ve got a lot to prepare for, mentally and physically.

We all know how seasonal changes affects our health; mentally and physically. But nothing is unpreventable or even unpreparable for. Here’s a guide on how to be fully prepared for Spring Season!

1. Start by Cleaning your house.

Cleaning your house comes as an essential part of the process to embrace this new beginning. Cleaning your house, part by part, will help you change your physical ambiance to a more natural and springy feeling. This will put your mind in a welcoming calm vibe for spring.

2. Cleanse your energy

There are a lot of ways to cleanse and prepare your energies that are shifting into a new cycle. Rituals are essentials, stock up on sage, crystals, scented candles, and essential oils.

3. Draw yourself a cleansing bath.

Draw your bath as you normally would but, this time add some essential oils (lavender is a good choice), detoxifying bath salts. Warm water of course plays a very important role in this cleanse too.

4. Drink infused water

5. Get some nature in.

As the breeze and the cool weather starts to show more and more throughout the season, being in touch with nature is super important and highly recommended to keep you grounded and calm.

6. Start your workout plans

Spring will bring you more joy and motivation to workout, the sun is out the weather is warmer. So it’s time to work that summer body!

7. Step your skincare.

With the sun being much more out throughout the day, it’s important to keep your skin protected and safe. If you don’t already use sunscreen as part of your skincare routine it is important to apply it everyday.

8. Start meditating

9. Add some flowers to your house

Adding flowers, freshly collected from a garden if possible, is part of being connected more and more to spring and this whole shift in cycles. They give positive vibes all over the room and will make you calmer and joyful.

10. Change your diet

Changing your diet every now and then, is a fun and healthy way to keep your body amused and healthy. Eating with the season, is healthy, fun, and mindful too. So don’t be scared to switch it up a little every now and then.

How To Morning Routine.

Having a morning routine is linked to a much happier and productive day. A morning routine also allows you to start your morning with intention, rather than letting the day run away from you. This positive feeling of being on top of things has results in a positive feeling and effect on your entire day.

Let’s Create A Morning Routine!

First thing we should start with is: taking into consideration the four aspects or ‘systems’ of you: Mental, Emotional, Physical and Spiritual.

Mentally:

  1. Set goals: Setting your goals for the day will kick start your day with more motivation and energy.
  2. Create a schedule for the day: This will make sure to keep you on the right track so you never miss anything.
  3. Read something that feeds your mind, or listen to a podcast. (Tune in to Ja’s Lifestyle The Podcast on all streaming platforms!)

Emotionally

  1. Express gratitude, expressing gratitude releases a good amount of positive energy that surrounds you.
  2. Identify what makes you feel good. self exploration and tryouts, try this and that or that to see wha makes you feel good and going in the morning.

Physically

  1. Get moving, don’t sit too long in your bed try to get moving immediately.
  2. Drink lemon water. it’s water, it’s super refreshing and it will help clean your body from toxins.
  3. Eat a good breakfast, never skip it. It’s your body-recharging meal.
  4. Clean your space, make your bed, do some laundry, wash the dishes… before hitting the road.

Spiritually

  1. Meditate
  2. Be in nature.
  3. Connect with yourself, all can be done by deeply mediating outside your house. it’s a great source of energy and grounding.

Creating a morning routine isn’t a checklist that happens in a day or two, it takes time and practice with of course a personal touch. So trying things for the first time and see what fits you the most, your schedule and your mood is really important.

But morning routine are worthless without a night routine too, so in a way you’ll be in control over two periods of your day and not letting it pass by you. draining your energy and not feeling as productive as before. Stay tuned for a night routine article this Thursday.

Heartburn is a burning pain in your chest, just behind your breastbone. The pain is often worse after eating, in the evening, or when lying down or bending over.

  1. A burning pain in the chest that usually occurs after eating and may occur at night
  2. Pain that worsens when lying down or bending over
  3. Bitter or acidic taste in the mouth

  1. Heartburn occurs more than twice a week
  2. Symptoms persist despite use of over-the-counter medications
  3. You have difficulty swallowing
  4. You have persistent nausea or vomiting

1. Citrus foods and tomatoes
2. Sugary Goods
3. Fried food
4. Spicy food and garlic
5. Chocolate

Foods that can help ease the pain/discomfort

1. Banana
2. Oatmeal
3. Soy Milk
4. Soup,Warm Not Hot!
5. Chamomile Tea, Warm Not Hot!
